Butyl Conventional

Printing blanket for all kinds of plastic substrates

The innovative printing blanket Butyl Conventional is designed to print both thermo-formed and injection molded plastic cups and containers at high speeds.

The conventional, i.e. non-compressible construction is perfectly suited also to newer generation presses. The Butyl face compound is extremely resistent to swelling from ketone and UV inks; no press adjustments are needed during the run.

The smooth cast surface provides superior ink release and consistent smooth lay down of solids and halftones. It gives the press operator a controlled print window and helps control slurring from different top to bottom travel speeds of the container. This surface is easy to clean and offers high abrasion resistance, thus allowing longer and multiple runs.

Note: Only wash-up solvents containing esters, ketones or alcohols should be used to clean Butyl blankets. Please avoid using aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents.
