BIRKAN Aeropress 4-ply N.D. ("New Development") allows a broad spectrum of applications: It can be used for highend sheetfed offset printing with frequent changes of paper types and formats as well as for premium carton printing or metal printing.

The extremely swell resistant surface provides perfect results with hybrid inks or when using alternately conventional and UV inks. The blanket is even suited to the use of high-pigmented inks. Carton printers appreciate the excellent resistance to edge marking.

The micro ground blanket surface guarantees sharp dots and excellent printing results in half tone as well as in solid print, whatever your paper type or thickness is.

The 4-ply carcass made of best quality stabilizing cotton fabrics provides excellent dimension stability and robustness. The highly compressible microsphere layer gives excellent smash resistance, thus ensuring an increased durability of the blanket‘s life.

The surface is easy to clean and guarantees, due to its special finish, a very good sheet release also on high-speed presses.
