The latest generation of UV blankets, ideal for LED UV
This printing blanket is the result of extensive field testing and evaluation in the most demanding UV printing environments. Advancements in rubber face chemistry have produced a blanket that does not swell nor produce embossing with most UV inks.
Practice shows that BIRKAN Dot-Master Magma UV is ideally suited for the LED UV wet on wet application, eliminating contamination of the yellow unit ink train.
The compressible micro sphere layer, likewise state-of-the-art, maintains a uniform thickness over the blanket‘s entire width.
An optimised surface profile allows for smooth ink transfer for great, homogeneous solids and low dot gain, thus achieving very clean halftones. The optimised face texture provides quick and trouble-free release of the printing substrate. Furthermore, the easy clean surface and smash resistant carcass extend on press durability, increasing productivity and reducing waste.
