BIRKAN Senator Blue
Economical, soft and elastic blanket for commercial sheetfed
The distinctive feature of BIRKAN Senator Blue is the blanket’s extremely high compressibility. Key to this is a resilient double compressible layer which is based on an innovative microsphere system.
This compressible layer has excellent rebound characteristics and allows for the blanket to follow the contours of the substrate, which is highly valuable in certain carton printing applications. Increased resistance to edge marking and smashes is also part of the blanket’s strengths.
The microground surface is designed for use with conventional inks (on a limited base, altenate use with UV inks is possible) and results in cleanest dot reproduction and excellent ink transfer.
The carcass has a 3-ply construction. It is extremely stable, with only low elongation values.
