Plastic pot and container printing at high speed
X-treme MAX is an innovative plastic printing blanket designed to print both thermo-formed and injection molded plastic cups and containers at high speeds. The surface of X-treme MAX offers superior resistance to both ketone based and UV curing inks, giving longer blanket life and consistent print performance.
Due to the new surface, abrasion resistance has been improved, allowing conical containers to be printed with maximum scuff resistance especially in high temperature applications where pots are flame treated prior to printing.
Furthermore, the new surface compound provides optimum ink transfer properties and dot sharpness, thus ensuring excellent half tone and solid print on all types of plastic containers. Even with smallest half tone dots or reverses a very good print result can be achieved.
Another feature of the surface compound is its extreme swelling resistance, thus allowing the use of UV curing inks and multiple label changes. No press adjustments are needed during the run.
