BIRGON
Tear and swell-resistant underpacking foil made of dimensionally stable polyester
The polyester underpacking foil BIRGON provides good support for corrections in the cylinder circumference of forme-cylinder and blanket cylinder and a changing of the printing length.
BIRGON can be applied like calibrated underlay sheets as an underpacking to offset printing plates, rubber blankets or coating forms. Compared to a paper sheet, the foil excels in much better dimensional stability. Nearly no sinking will take place even under printing pressure. Furthermore, BIRGON is highly tear- and swelling-resistant, thus providing high durability.
BIRGON is also available in a self-adhesive version (see BIRGON SKL).
