Folabase Excel U
Swell-resistant compound underpacking foil
Folabase Excel U is an advancement of the proven underpacking foil Folabase Soft U in the thickness ranges from 0.7 to 1.5 mm and reliably supports the achievement of outstanding printing results in cylinder circumference and printing length adjustment in offset presses.
A significant improvement of the plane parallelism of the underpacking materials at larger thicknesses was achieved by using a new raw material.
The combination of dimensionally stable polyester and a flexible polymer offers outstanding dimensional stability in thickness and format, as well as a extensive smash resistance.
Compared to paper substrates, the board is largely resistant to swelling caused by dampening water or cleaning agents. It can be reused frequently or used directly over a longer period of time, making it a particularly sustainable option.
