POLYFOL SKL

Self-adhesive underpacking foil made of dimensionally stable polyester

The polyester underpacking foil POLYFOL SKL is made of dimensionally stable polyester and reliably supports cylinder circumference and print length adjustment in sheet-fed offset presses, both on plate and blanket cylinders. It grants high shear adhesive strength to prevent slipping under the plate. A special low-tack glue ensures easy removal and leaves no residues on the cylinder

POLYFOL uncoated can be applied like paper underpacking sheets under the offset printing plate, the rubber blanket or under the coating forme. Compared to a calibrated paper sheet, the foil excels in much better dimensional stability. Nearly no sinking will take place even under printing pressure.

Furthermore, POLYFOL SKL is highly tear- and swelling-resistant, thus providing high durability. The foil is resistant to chemical cleaning agents or solvents and thermostable at high temperatures in the printing press.

POLYFOL SKL can be easily applied to almost all cylinders and can be removed quickly and cleanly with very little cleaning effort.
