BIRKAN 5000 has been designed specifically for the requirements of high speed heatset presses. This blanket excels in excellent print quality over a long period and outstanding durability.
Key to this is the compressible layer integrating a new revolutionary technology. It provides fast web release, improved rebound from web breaks and smashes and minimal gauge loss – all these factors contributing to high performance on press.
BIRKAN 5000 allows you to maximize the print area to the gap. What is more, it provides proper print density in light or heavy coverage areas and sharp halftones.
A specially formulated face compound of nitrile blend produces, in combination with a smooth surface finish, improved web release, easy register control and less dot gain. The surface resists paper abrasion as well as edge cutting.
