Resistant blanket not only for UV applications

BIRKAN UV 1001’s high level of reliability is based on first-class materials: From the micro-ground surface with a special compound formulation to the compressible layer with its well defined distribution and size of microcells, and last but not least the high-precision calandered carcass: Each layer contributes to the excellent characteristics of this blanket.

This is reflected in the uniform printing over the entire image area, as well as in the well defined screenprint and even, smooth solid laydown. Overall, ink transfer is excellent.

The fine ground surface shows an extraordinary resistance to swelling caused by inks and washing agents based on mineral or vegetable oil as well as non-aggressive UV inks. The surface is not only optimised against edge cutting, but resists also hard and sharp-edged substrates.

BIRKAN UV 1001 will produce constantly high quality throughout the complete and exceptionally long service life.
