Butyl Conventional
Printing blanket for all kinds of plastic substrates
The innovative printing blanket Butyl Conventional is designed to print both thermo-formed and injection molded plastic cups or other containers. The conventional, non-compressible construction is particularly suitable for slower presses.
The soft Butyl surface compound is extremely resistent to swelling from UR and IR curing inks; no press adjustments are normally needed during the run.
The smooth cast surface provides superior ink transfer on difficult materials and profiles. It gives the press operator a controlled print window and helps control slurring from different top to bottom travel speeds of the container. This surface is easy to clean and offers high abrasion resistance, thus allowing longer and multiple runs.
The thick, stabilising fabric has a high-quality finish, is extremely durable and provides extra robustness.
Note: Only wash-up solvents containing esters, ketones or alcohols should be used to clean Butyl blankets. Please avoid using aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents.
