Stencil preparation the easy way
BIRKAN Super Strip is providing the ideal solution for on-line varnishing with aqueous or UV coating on multi-colour printing presses.
The unique construction of this varnishing blanket allows for clean stencil cutting and sharp edges which can be achieved either by hand or cad cutting table.
The compressible layer is easy to peel, thus providing quick and trouble free stencil preparation. The deep stencil depth and the even relief both ensure a long uninterrupted production, eliminating the need for frequent wash‑ups. There is no risk of stencil lifting or delamination during the run.
Due to the smooth cast surface, BIRKAN Super Strip provides optimum varnish transfer with minimum pressure settings.
