The best choice for UV offset printing

Traditional printing blankets tend to swell sooner or later when being in permanent contact with UV inks and UV solvents. A special UV blanket is therefore recommended in order to achieve optimum printing results.

Due to the additives used in the EPDM surface layer, BIRKAN Aeropress Special UV is extremely swell-resistant to UV inks and UV washing solutions. At the same time, this particular surface compound assists ink transfer and prevents piling, thus reducing blanket washing frequency. Durability is also sensibly increased due to the highly compressible intermediate layer incorporating a new pore system.

The extremely fine ground surface structure ensures excellent printing results as well for halftone print as for solid print, whatever your paper type or thickness is, as well as a very good paper release (QR effect). This is why this blanket is recommended for the most diverse special printing applications.
