Special printing blanket for continuous printing
BIRKAN Tycoon SA is a blanket for a wide range of narrow web offset applications that remains stable at high press speeds. It is equipped with a self-adhesive layer, available in two different thicknesses (0.95 mm or 1.07 mm) and can be used for printing labels, forms or envelopes as well as for varnishing applications on continuous presses.
The micro-ground surface ensures sharp dot reproduction and consistently good quality in solids and halftones.
The compressible layer with microspheres is resistant to most press chemicals. Developed on base of a new technology, it incorporates a stabilising layer that ensures particularly high dimensional stability and minimum thickness loss.
The acrylic adhesive layer can be removed from the impression cylinder without leaving any residue, thus enabling repeat jobs without any problems. The paper release sheet on the backside ensures additional rigidity to the blanket and easy handling and mounting.
