BIRKAN 7100

Multipurpose blanket with innovative carcass technology

The blanket BIRKAN 7100 has been designed for use with all conventional and many UV/LED curing inks and is ideally suited for mixed mode applications.

The micro ground surface is based on a specially blended rubber compound thus ensuring excellent ink transfer and sharp half tones over a wide range of printing pressures. It resists most UV drying inks and washes and offers also very good sheet release properties (QR effect). Moreover, it is compatible with a wide range of paper weights.

The enhanced carcass construction includes a closed-cell compressible layer and maintains consistent gauge, with quick rebound for improved smash resistance.

Last but not least, the high-quality fabric ensures high stability, robustness and durability due to its low stretch properties.
